This is the perfect "application" type add-on for Firefox for me. I usually like to keep my applications separate (ie Firefox and Thunderbird vs.. whatever Mozilla is called now), but when FTPing 99% of my FTPing is uploading changes to websites, in which case I'd have my browser open anyway to check the changes. I haven't used it extensively, but so far so good, very very useful.
