Love this add-on as I always hit close rather than minimize. Though sadly the latest Thunderbird update appears to have broken it.

It's a handy little addon, (EDIT) It's now working as intended, with the red X minimizing. Not sure why it wasn't working earlier, only thing I've done since then is restart my computer. Love it.
