If you're looking for sorting in FF3 you could try SortPlaces.

This extension looks to be dead. So I've written a replacement for FF3 called SortPlaces.

This extension appears to be dead and so does it's replacement Bookmark Sync n Sort. But I am actively developing a new extension called SyncPlaces to replace them all. So go have a look at this and email me with any suggestions for improvement.

I think this extension is dead, so I've just written a Firefox 3 extension from scratch to do a similar job. See https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/8426

This is one of the few extensions I install on every machine I use.

Absolutely invaluable.
