This is the only working TTS plugin I've found to work in ubuntu 10.10. It would be nice if it could use the cepstral swift engine. The generic festival voices are pretty crummy. It would also be nice to have a way to adjust the volume and rate.

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.7.2).
