Used this when migrating to a new profile (the old one was from back in the 3.6 days) and it worked easily and flawlessly. Thanks!

It would be nice if this was part of the core implementation.

Looks like I have to do some more Ego polishing... :)

To everybody who did not realize it yet... CookieSafe's support for Firefox stops at 3.6.* which is why I am currently maintaining newer versions of this addon here:
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/cookiesafe-ff-4-compatible/

For everybody how was complaining about my fixed up version not changing permissions correctly:

I have released a new fixed version of CookieSafe but you probably have to manually install it since it is not yet reviewed.

I think this is an excellent extension and as such it should continue to run under Firefox 4, created a Firefox 4 compatible version of CookieSafe here and would like people to test it: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/cookiesafe-ff-4-compatible/
