Like so many other users, Lighting 1.9 hangs Thunderbird on start up. And to make it more appealing the devs then get all snarky with those that complain...

Provider for Google Calendar

with TB 13.x and 14, lightning 1.5x and 1.6, provider for google calendar is causing a complete hang of thunderbird.
