Tried on version 146.0 (64bit) but it does NOT work: after installation, right click on any folder, when I choose any of the two actions (check or delete) nothing happens... Compatibility issue?

UPDATE: I do not see any notification, but I don't find in Options any spot where to turn it on!

UPDATE2: I created a new folder, copied twice the same email and the DELETE actually eliminated one of the two, so it works. The issue is that I need to purge duplicated emails which have been copied via filters multiple times as I wrongly clicked "apply now" on that damn filter, duplicating them all 5-6 times. It seems that they are NOT recognized as duplicate despite identical (as far as I -user- can see)

I'm on 146.0 as well. Just duplicated 1 email in my test folder and ran "check for duplicates". I see this: https://i.imgur.com/p3H2jiJ.png . Do you have notifications from thunderbird disabled by chance? Actually deleting worked fine too: https://i.imgur.com/wKkbROq.png

If you add a single email to a test folder a few times and run the delete dups, does it work even if there is no notification?
