I started a collection over 2 years ago of alternative add-ons that can replace functionality originally found in Mr Tech Toolkit (MTT).

would be nice if the features from the Filter Extensions add-on

https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/6694/

were implemented in the same way here. as that add-on makes them more conveniently accessible.

If so, then I would lnot need that add-on

A nice add-on

Asa small enhancement, It would be nice to have an X to clear the filter field easily, with just one click instead of having to reach for the mouse, highlight text and delete with keyboard or type over.

re: My Config Icon, you can get rid of it by going to
MR Tech ToolKit Options > Manager Hacks > Window Options. Then make sure to remove the check mark beside 'My Config' in Addons Toolbar

I agree that the icons in the Extensions Options menu do not work (although they DO work if you use the Toolbar Icon by customizing the Toolbar). You can simply remove the Extensions Options menu by going to:
MR Tech ToolKit Options > Menu Options > Tools Menu Options. Then make sure to place a check mark beside "Extensions Options".

While you are there you can remove all the other menu entries in the Tools Menu in that same place.

Overall a great add on otherwise (save for a few bugs I have submitted for review).
