Download YouTube Videos as MP4
Ohodnoceno 1 z 5 hvězdiček
I have limited data on my plan so the FLV option was the one I always used. Now it's gone; all that's left is MP4 360 and 720. I can't "afford" those so I will be looking for a replacement for this add-on.
Reply to developer: I would say "Thank you for the information" but the way you said it makes me disinclined to do that. If you're going to have customers - even if they're using a free product - you need to work on making your language more professional - which means, keep your attitude out of it. My 1-star rating will stand, partly because of that attitude but mostly because your product doesn't do what your description - "just in case you need it, you can also download the highest-quality FLV version available: FLV 240p (426x240)." - says it does.

First of all - you're welcome, ripper.
I wanted to add that I just had to create a new profile (the old one was corrupted) and I was not able to install ForecastFox from here; FF kept telling me it wasn't compatible with v34, even with the CheckCompatibility add-on enabled. I did a search and found it somewhere else; I won't say where because it doesn't seem like a good idea to mention that here, but I will say it's on a site I've used a lot and trust. Installation does need a restart but once I did that it was back where it belongs, in the bottom toolbar. I still haven't tried to get all my settings back (cities, countries, etc.) but I'm hoping that moving the sqlite file from the old profile will take care of that.
I really wish someone would update this though; the radar map is still not timely and besides, I don't like the idea of possibly having other add-ons out-of-date (because they're not being checked). So, if anyone is doing this, I think it's a good idea to manually check for updates periodically just so you don't miss anything important.

This is an English translation (from Google) of the review by Leandro Battista below:
"To install this plugin (or any other outdated plugin) in Firefox 32 or later follow these steps:
1 - Install The Addon Bar (Restored) https://addons.mozilla.org/es/firefox/addon/the-addon-bar/ (Activa old bar accessories located on the bottom of Firefox)
2 - Install Disable Add-on Compatibility Checks https://addons.mozilla.org/es/firefox/addon/checkcompatibility/ (Allow install plugins outdated).
3 - Install Forecastfox Weather.
Usually, enjoy!"
I'd already used the Classic Theme Restorer to bring back the add-on bar so I didn't need to do Step1 and therefore can't say if it works. But Step 2 worked - ForecastFox is back! So I'm passing it along. I do think this disables the update-checking feature so please keep that in mind for your other add-ons. But hopefully it will work until ForecastFox can be updated to be compatible again.
I would like to say, about ForecastFox - the only issue I've had with it is the radar map's not always updating; if I'm online for several hours it may show old pictures. Apparently this issue has been going on for a while so I came up with a workaround - I bookmarked the radar URL and put that in the bookmarks toolbar. It's not a big deal now.
GoodSearch

A couple of years ago I was looking at a particular charity's website and found GoodSearch. I thought it was a great idea, so I installed it and tried to use it as much as possible, thinking I was helping them out. But when I got a new computer, with a different operating system, I discovered I'd have to reinstall GoodSearch, and finding out how to do that *with the link to my charity* was really hard. Plus, I discovered on GoodSearch's site that if you don't enable cookies for all their advertisers your donation won't go to your charity - and since I had Firefox set to delete cookies at the end of each session, it's doubtful that any of the money from my searches actually went to the charity. That's really disappointing. And if they can't figure out who your charity is, or if you don't pick one (as another reviewer here said), they use the money for their own operating costs. That's probably where the money from my searches was going. So I either have to enable lots of advertiser cookies - the list on the GoodSearch page had 15 of them - or find another way to support that charity. I'm opting to find another way. This system just doesn't work very well.
