Wasn't working on thunderbird 12 a while ago. I updated thunderbird today to 16.0.2 and it doesn't work.

I entered my login/password and url correctly. When I right click > create jira issue, nothing happen. Same thing for menu item "add a jira comment"

Diese Bewertung wurde für eine vorherige Version des Add-ons (0.12.14) abgegeben.  Dieser Benutzer hat auch weitere Bewertungen dieses Add-ons.

Could you please include the output of the JavaScript Console (Ctrl-Shift-J) of the time when you try it?

Could be you are having the same problem as reported by another user regarding an incompatible plugin.
