One has to delete a username/password combination and start from scratch to "train" Thunderbird to understand the updated username/password version. This kind of restriction becomes a necessity when Thunderbird's functions are extended to accommodate project management, general administrative tasks and client record keeping. Especially in case of the latter, it is necessary to secure email content from preying eyes. The 'Master Password+' extension "locks" Thunderbird when not actively uses after a predetermined period of time. This sometimes is a bit of a schlep when - e.g. compiling documents from email content - because 'Master Password+' locks Thunderbird down and you have to login to continue using Thunderbird. But it is a small price to pay for keeping sensitive email contents private.

Shutting down and starting Thunderbird is a time consuming exercise. The Restartless Restart add-on, merely automate the process by powering down and restart Thunderbird again with the necessary changes made and restore all displays to the state it was before powering down.

Quickly and easy way to inform someone of a missed call. This addon allows you to email the person your passing the message onto, collecting their email address from your address book, with a collection of ready made messages.

Hinweis des Sammlers The 'Telephone Message' extension doesn't add real functional value to Thunderbird. It is only a missed call form template which, on completion, will assist in compiling an email that can be send with details pertaining the missed call. Handy in the sense that it makes compiling and sending "missed call" details less of a nuisance. 'Telephone Message' isn't "fully" automated, one has to manually close (cancel) the dialogue box when the task is completed. Other than that, quite useful at times.
