Don't waste the three seconds that it takes to install this extension and do it yourself
1. Open up a new tab
2. Type in "about:config" without the quotes and press enter
3. In the filter type in "keyword.url"
4. Change that to "http://www.google.com/search?btnI=I%27m+Feeling+Lucky&q=" again, without the quotes
And Voila!

Tried this for a while but it is too slow to be used. It takes about 9 seconds to open up a new tab for me now compared with 2 seconds for a new google page. The drop in new tab loading speed (which also taxes the rest of firefox so I'm not even able to type in the address box) outweighs and possible benefit. I would recommend looking at the google chrome source code and copying it tit-for-tat for this add on because theirs is better.
