I have been using Fireftp for a while under windows. Recently started using Kubuntu linux which installs Firefox version 3.0b5. Trying to load the plugin I get the error that the extension is not recognized and does not install. Is there a fix for this?

You need to upgrade to Firefox 3.0 - it won't work for the beta version anymore.
