This is a great extension for my firefox but I wonder when it will come out for Firefox 3. Once it's compatible, I don't think I'll use Firefox 2 anymore.

I generally like it, but it often "freezes up" on me, not showing me new messages. I think there's nothing there but discover new emails when I go to gmail.
Also, with FF 2.0.0.11 on Vista (new computer) I've noticed it doesn't switch to the other account when there's a new message in the account not currently showing on the screen.

A removal solution is to erase your profile and create a new one - drastic but it worked fine for me.

This is possibly my favourite Firefox add-on overall! I ALWAYS use it, and I've gotten my friends to start, too!
The only, ONLY thing I wish is a way to re-order the e-mail accounts. ~_~ I have about 10 accounts for different purposes, and have often wished I could move around the order in which they're listed. That'd make it just *perfect.* ♥

The 0.5.4 update has a couple minor bugs with keeping the popup preview synchronized, but it still seems to be best tool for keeping up with multiple GMail accounts, especially with Google Apps.
Simply put, it's extremely unobtrusive, it gives you a simple summary of all your accounts, and it logs you in when you click on it.

Working for new Gmail now. Good job, guys. Really impressive. This is really the best Gmail manager for FF.

Yup, Gmail Manager is currently broken due to the changes the Google has recently made. But, the author is aware of the problem and is working on it.
I can't live without Gmail Manager. I use it to manage my 5 Gmail accounts, as well as use it for my Google Apps for You Domain. Gmail Manager Rocks!

I've used this addon for a long time and have loved it. I recently made a new email and added it to the manager on both my laptop and my desktop. Neither computer shows the new emails for this new email account I created yet it shows the new emails for my older email account.

This has always been a great tool, but for the past few days it no longer shows the message count and space used..etc. It still logs in and works but it needs an update, which I am sure the author knows about now.

i have 4 gmail accounts and the only one that isn't currently working with gmail manager is the one that seems to have a new gmail interface. is that the problem? i installed a different gmail add-on and it also didn't work with this same account that has the new gmail interface

This extension really does rock. I have used it for a year. However, with the recent changes GMail has done to GMail the program always says you have 0 messages just like the other users reported. It stopped working for me right after Google upgraded my Gmail to their new code. An update will be need to correct this. I hope it is soon. I love this extension.

Same problem as DrkCherry. Used this for a long time now and a couple of days back it stopped working on my PC at work and laptop at home. Strange. Uninstalled, reinstalled, but still not working.

I was using this at work and at home, then both stopped working. Email counts stay at 0, even if I have emails. I can no longer double click on the account in the taskbar. Not sure if this is a Firefox issue or an issue with the program.

works flawlessly. Great work. Kudos to you. A small suggestion though, currently multiple email accounts are not visible in the toolbar, as in, only 1 account is visible and for the rest i have to right-click, it would be gr8 if all accounts are shown for some time and then swapped out in a cycle.

Edit: Program needs to be updated to work with the new version of Gmail.

This extension is really cool. Of course, this helps manage multiple accounts etc. etc. which is great.
But, the way it is designed is also cool. Before installing it, i had not expected it show the notification windows like gtalk does. Infact, i could not find any UI faults in this one. BTW, i am slightly fanatic at that. Ok, i guess, i found one :) like the "Preview" button for notification sound should be "Play" icon as in the universal play symbol - something like this .. ">"

BTW, why not integrate chat message to this. I used to keep my gmail opened so that i can monitor incoming emails as well an incoming IM. Once i know someone is pining me, i can go to the inbox - so i am not suggesting to add another gmail client. - just something that notifies on new message .. something like...
