Please update your extension to TB 115.
This feature is still missing in TB.

Nostalgy++ was already very good (and luckily a good alternative to Nostalgy) but Search is also a very nice feature.
What I think is the worst thing in Thunderbird is the Search function. Nostalgy++ search is better but still far from perfect. I would like it to be just like MailStore. I use MailStore find messages. I think there should be an option "Search All" and I think it's better not to constantly update the database but to do it just like MailStore. Click to update the indexed database. Takes a few minutes but you only use it if you also want to search for something received/sent not long ago, if not you use the old database.
Ps: Why not make it a separate extension?

Many add-ons don't work in TB78, including Nostalgy. I was already thinking about going back to TB68 but this add-on came at the right time. Thanks! Works great.

I think Giorgio won't create a new version for ff quantum. Don't know what's happening. I think he has some issue with the FF crew.
Unified Search

Whatever I do (with p.e. all disabled except sender) using the quick filter box (enter) or the unified search box (ctrl-enter), the results are always the same. It returns matches from all folders with search term in sender, recipient, subject and body.
I tried to hide built in filter bar, but nothing changes.
My Thunderbird version is 52.5.0 (32-bit)

I was not enable to do a search only for sender, recipents, subject..... p.e. doing a search for "john" with the sender button enabled returns all messages with john but not only in the sender field. I want to see only john in the sender field. Even if I click on the button afterwards, nothing happens.

I like this addon.
I changed the header background to:
#expandedHeaderView, #header-view-toolbox, #collapsedHeaderView {
background-color: #CADCEB !important;
color: black
}
But it doesn't work around the photo.
How can I color the background around the photo?

Happy to see this plugin a few things doesn't work p.e. help. Options window in addon window is empty. I'm receiving many errors like this: TypeError: can't wrap XML objects

Yes why did I read so much pages about SmartTemplate on the internet before to write here;) Btw I put %cursor% in my reply header but the cursor is still at the right side of my email.

Great addon. I disabled the toolbar, but I find it terrible to still see the toolbar for 1 or 2 seconds when I start-up Thunderbird. How can I resolve this?

Thank you for your great upgrade.
Much much better now. It is better as the default thunderbird search. Like also the regex search (never seen it before, maybe it was there before). How do I drag the expression search bar to my own toolbar (I created). I wish also to hide the icons, unread, starred, contact, tags, attachment. Thanks again for your great work!

This is a great add on. The default search in Thunderbird is too complicated. Too many buttons and clicks. Expression Search makes it as I would like the search to be. But something doesn't work very well. Once every 2 times when I click <CTRL-Enter> I go to the default thunderbird search. How can I avoid this??

Once every 2 times, It does not create a virtual folder but it does the search as default in thunderbird (it opens a new tab with the search results and the possibility to filter the search (not for me, for me etc.., people etc)).
I hope I made myself clear.

I noted that when a video is playing and I click on links in the same page to open pages in new background tabs, the video stops playing and goes back to start.
When I disable FlashResizer it doesn't happen.

I don't install TB 3b2 before Nostalgy has been upgraded to this release. :-)
