ReminderFox
Rated 4 out of 5 stars
A very usable "remind me - calendar style" App, and one worth installing, using as much as prudently possible and keeping over the long-term. Very usable features, few if any "stay in your face" when you don't want them to, and those that you need are very useful indeed.
Only real "negative" seen here: Versions prior to ReminderFox 2.1.5.4 MAY make Firefox version 43+ Add-On unit call "...can not be signed and is disabled..." errors, generally easily fixable by updating to version 2.1.5.4 or greater.
ThunderBrowse
Rated 3 out of 5 stars
ThunderBrowse 3.82 is actually a great idea but at the sane time, does NOT work correctly within Thunderbird 38.0.1, and it's the only tool we can see that does what we almost "desperately" need it for. What to do ?

3.8 with Thunderbird 11 is brilliant with 1 major flaw
Why in all these versions do we HAVE to download an add-in just to get ThunderBrowse to "do" simple copy and paste of URL's and other information ?
This has never been explained to the users clearly and simply, nor has ThunderBrowser been "fixed right" to eliminate this major annoyance.

VERY good product, but only works up to Thunderbird 6.x.
Needs to be tweaked for use in TB 7.

ThunderBrowse 3.8 in one word: superbly done (oops, make that TWO words!)

ThunderBrowse 3.7 + Thunderbird 5 appears to us as ready, working, and stable. 3.7 appears under intense usage totally compatible with Thunderbird 5, and runs superbly on our multiple Win 7 32 and 64bit systems. NOTE!: ThunderBrowse + Thunderbird 5 works as expected in our systems here. Message pane works flawlessly, as do other displays. SOME users report Message pane problems, so your mileage may vary.
You can get 3.7 without waiting for Mozilla OK at:https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/thunderbird/addon/thunderbrowse/versions/

A superb "little" browser insert for Thunderbird (TB) 3.x and soon for 5.0, that saves many hours a week.
The wait and head-scratching seen making it work "like we are used to" in TB 5.0 will be frustrating at times, but it will be worth the wait.
STRONGLY suggest that users of this add-on seriously consider donating to the software maker, it's worth your support!
Lightning

Win 7 64bit. Works superbly. Integrates well with TBird 3.1.9. Knowing that there will soon be a 1.0 Beta 4 or maybe April 2011 final, like all users we wish Lightning 1.0 would be finally finished. However, am aware that 1.0 B4 or Final needs to be timed on the soon-to-be TBird 3.3 version.

Mime..and other users...
As always, this is a VERY good clearly solid add-on.
However we need to see even an "almost complete" Update that will work with Firefox 4 Beta 10 or greater soon ?
FoxTab
Rated 4 out of 5 stars
Although a very nicely implemented idea, no matter if a modern, hi-res monitor, or full screen, the individual thumbnail panels are ALWAYS just too much out of focus, especially compared to other add-ons like Showcase, etc., which are quite a bit sharper and more viewable. There has to be a better FoxTab algorithm that can at least improve the focus just a bit more, for both the Windows and other versions ?

In agreement with Anniekin.
Simple Mail 2.74 worked well, and Simple Mail 3.1 seems to be on the order of "95% done", where the remaining needs may be as follows -- knowing that we likely each have differing ideas here, but the MAIN needs might be as follows -- NOT listed in any order of importance for now:
1. SM 3.x NEEDS to be able to PROPERLY Export Emails and entire local folders to OTHER EMail systems, using either "standard" Email formats, or the one format that say Thunderbird (TBird) can read and take into TBird. SM 3.x has a LOT going for it, but people ABSOLUTELY MUST be able to Export when they need to,. in a format that makes sense to the OTHER Email applications.
2. SM 3.1 and onwards obviously needs to be able to properly send / receive Emails, as that's what we all use SM for. The current problems seen sound downright simple for a programmer to clear, as obviously SM 2.74 did it just fine, and SM 3.x is on the way to being "better" but there is clearly something wither missing or turned off in the 3.1 code.
Fact #1 is that SM 2.74 and 3.1 are essentially identical in most all areas.
Fact #2 is that simple fixes usually are just that -- simple -- but the "fixer" needs to tweak the fix, users can't do that, unless the users happen to be able to tweak the code and produce the final output for user use.
3. SM 2.74, and likely SM 3.x use the SQLite database system, and SQLite related tools (SQLite Manager is one) exist to look into the Email files as stored on the hard drive or your storage area. That's not a problem, but the SQLite tools give users, and both more advanced users and programmers the "power" to do a lot more than just inspection of the files. Where this fact leads is an interesting thought.
I leave my Email and Skype contacts as well...
can we get together, perhaps contact both of the SM knowledgeable people at the Simple Mail core -- currently telega and xtremenventor -- and seeing if one or both is willing to become or stay "fixer" ??

Simple Mail
Rated 4 out of 5 stars
Simple Mail 3.1 (SM for short) is needed to update the older Simple Mail 2.74.
SM 3.1 then works fine with Firefox 3.6.10, 3.6.11 (Beta) and with Firefox 4 Beta 6.
Installing Simple Mail 3.1 to FF installations that have "locked out" SM 2.74 should work fine, as SM 3.1 will read your existing SM 2.74 Email's and folders just fine.
SM 3.1 Users that Can't Send Emails: Sending Email works fine, IF you check your IMAP or POP3 ports (both send and receive) and reset them to what they should be. That is, SM 3.1 resets them to weird port address numbers that do NOT work, until you check your IMAP or POP3 ports (both send and receive) and reset them to what they should be.
We need to work together to get SM 3.1 to export Email's and folders to other Email software's like Thunderbird, Chrome, SeaMonkey, etc...as this is a needed option.
