Provider for Google Calendar
Rated 4 out of 5 stars
Btw. I just successfully installed the version 128.0.0 - which syncs without problems...
So - I deactivated the automatic update for this add-on and will keep an eye on the page for the add-on manually waiting for the bug-fix.

I can also confirm that since the update on 18.,03.2025 the sync with google does not work anymore rendering this add-on rather use-less.
But the accusation in regard to the donation-request seems rather drastic to me.
Has anyone payed and through that recieved a working version of the add-on?
If that's indeed the case - then I guess the accusations are spot on, since we're talking about a very unsavoury way to change over to a fee-based-service instead of a free-of-charge community-contribution.
But - as I havent't paid anything myself - I cannot say one way or the other.
I only hope very much, that the developer is just trying to get the bug fixed and will present us with a working version very soon!
That would be an incentiv to send a donation his way!
Next Unread Thread (Mark All Read)

Thanks for programming this super-helpful add-on!
It makes-my mail-checking (in combination with lots of filters, subfolders and thread-views in different mailing-lists) so much easier and faster!

I really liked your add-on, since I need to synchronize multiple Google Calendars with Thunderbird, but since today I cannot get it to work at all anymore... :(
The existing calendars all showed up with connection-problems and when I foolishly deleted them in order try and to set up new clean connections I could not get one calendar set up at all. When I sign in from the authorization popup I'm left with a "Locate your calendar" dialog with nothing listed, it's just empty.
I don't have the Thunderbirthday-add-on installed.
When I import the preferences from a backup of the prefs.js-file into the current prefs.js-file the calendars are listed with the connection-problems but now the calendar-events aren't even shown any more. :-(
Can you please help me get my calendars back???

Timeline

Very nice add-on! Pity it can't be made visible outside of Thunderbird and just be clipped onto the windows taskbar.
One improvement-wish:
a mouse-over bubble displaying the infos to the event/task as in the calendar itself (or at least the event-time and full name). That would be really great! :-)

Mark All Read Button
Rated 5 out of 5 stars
I'd like a "Mark Selected As Read" (for multiple selected messages and mutiple selected threads) as well!!!
Also it would be nice if there'd be a "Mark Selected As Unread" as well. With those additions the extension would simply the greatest! :-)
Year view

Great idea! :-)
I second the suggestion to add the option to choose the number of displayed months and also the starting month.
Another thing would be lokalization. Is there a way for me as an extension-user to change the text appearing in the tab from "year" to e.g. the German equivalent "Jahr"?
I, too, hope that this will be added to the TB-core!
