I like Feedly but I want to take it out of Thunderbird. However, I don't seem to be able to delete it from the list of folders on the left. Can anyone help?

My feedly synchronizer only works one way. Kindly guide me to set it up to send the changes in thunderbird to the feedly account.

Would be great if it would work. Tried on Linux Mint, Thunderbird 60.2.1, with Gmail-Login, but doesn't load a single feed. Also once I setup an account, I can't find a way to change the feedly account...

I do not have so much extensions for Thunderbird, but it's one of those that should be. Thank you.

the changes made in TB (local) dont update the contents in feedly (Sync option). TB only receives data from feedly server.
TB (v52.6.0) Addon (v1.1.3)
Hello.
Locally, you can subscribe and unsuscribe to a feed by importing an OPML file or manually, using Thunderbird’s commands and dialogs.
Deleting a feed is pretty straightforward, and should work simply by pressing ‘Del’.
Subscribe to a feed is a trickier operation, as we need to satisfy the structure imposed by Feedly. That is: 1) There must be a root subfolder with the category name 2) Below said folder, must be the feeds subscriptions. So, subscribing to a feed using Thunderbird dialog seems a little clumsy.
You can also easily rename a category to verify everything is working correctly.
Thanks for your feedback.

Now that with new 1.1.3 realase the problem of google log-in is solved, I find this add-on a must! It works flawlessly and if you're a news feed reader, you better go with it.

The addition does not update read threads. Thunderbird from the side and from the Feedly. Synchronization set only from the Feedly.
How to set it to read marked by threads.
Hello.
That feature is not available yet.

I have Thundebird 45 on Windows 7 x64. The extension don't work. I dont choose folder because the list folders is blank.
I'm sorry, I speak English bad.
Hello.
You're spot on. The add on doesn´t work with Thunderbird 45, currently in beta channel.
I have uploaded a new version (1.1.1) that works with newer versions of Thundebird.
Hopefully it will be reviewed before TB goes to release channel.

Thanks. Thunderbird RSS sync with Feedly is exactly what i'm looking for.
Please make a mark read and starred upload, without it's not a "Synchronizer"

How do I login to my Feedly account from Thunderbird after I have installed this addon?
This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.1.0).An authentication window should automatically pop up after a synchronization operation happens.
You should be able to manually trigger the window using "synchronize" option in tools menu or at Thunderbird startup.

This add on adds a folder in the mail client, and you have to log in. You do have to press "get messages" in order for the feed to fill. Overall, great.

Great idea! although I use The Old Reader as my feeds provider. It would be really nice if you were able to add TOR support!

I just downloaded the extension and I was able to import all my feeds from feedly. Great! I was misiing an extension like this!
It looks that the articles attributes (read/unread - starred) are not synced, at least on my machine.
Adding this function would turn this extension in something perfect and extremely useful (also considering the total lack of a desktop rss reader that sync with feedly on windows).
By the way, does the extension work on linux and OSX too? The addons.mozilla webpage list it as a windows download but I will try it on my linux machine. Being able to use it on any platform supported by thunderbird would be great as well!
I'm available to eventually help in testing the future versions. Big thanks again to the developer!
EDIT: I've tried the extension also on linux and on osx and it works fine.
I'm looking forward to see the starred and mark as read features implemented. Then it will be really a must have extension for any feedly&thunderbird user (and I'm sure there are a lot out there). I would be glad to donate to the developer in order to support his work but I haven't found a way to contact him directly. Maybe he could add the infos for a donation directly in the notes of the next version. Keep up the good work and thanks again
Hello.
Starred and mark as read features are unimplemented. I'll probably keep making improvements in my spare time.
Yes. The extension works on Linux and should on MacOS, but I haven't tried, since I don't have access to such computer.
Thanks for your feedback.

Installed the add-on, set it up, logged into Feedly, but the add-on doesn't fetch my Feedly feeds.
I login to Feedly using my Google account. Thunderbird Error console shows an "unable to authenticate" error after I've successfully entered my credentials.
EDIT: The workaround the developer suggested fixes the login issue. Sycn'ing doesn't appear to work, though. I tried both the Download and the Synchronize methods, but what I see in Thunderbird doesn't match what I see in Feedly. Specifically, the items marked as read in Feedly are not marked as read in Thunderbird. There are no errors in the log.
Hello.
After some research I've discovered a bug in the authentication process. The new version (1.1.0) should address these issues.
Marked as read feature is unimplemented. Current version only synchronizes add, delete and some update operations.
If people like the addon and I have some spare time available, I'll keep implementing features.
Thanks for your feedback.
