Rename Attachment
Rated 5 out of 5 stars
This a simple and very useful addon for TB. One of those extensions whose functionality *should* be part of TB builtin features.
It just works. Thanks!
If the author looks for ideas of improvements, one such idea could be to have a `Rename this attachment' item in the menu that pops down when right-clicking the name of an attachment in the right part of the compose window.

To all looking for this functionality but compatible with multiple identities, please have a look at SendVia:

Choose your SMTP server or create a new one and use it for the current message.
SendVia aims at remaining simple. I've been happily using it for months without any problem. I use several identities, and I'm constantly moving with my Linux laptop).

SendVia is currently in addons.mozilla.org's sandbox (experiments, see https://addons.mozilla.org/fr/thunderbird/addon/10471). It needs your tests and comments!!

I extended the code of this extension to make it usable even with distinct SMTP servers associated to different accounts / identities.
But smtpswitch comes with no licence. How can I publish my code? Does anyone know how to contact the author?
