My Reviews
Tab Metrics
Rated 4 out of 5 stars
Phenomenal potential here for this extension, but I want to give you some constructive criticism here. First I commend you for putting together such a useful extension, however it is the very opposite of usable and user-friendly. Here are my suggestions:
The method used for reporting CPU usage per tab is downright terrible. First of all, you shouldn't have to click on a tab. Secondly, even if you only needed to hover over one instead of click-hover-wait, you still shouldn't even display this data under the tab's tooltips in the first place. If anywhere, you should have just opted to report this data in the status bar.
However, accessing the data on an individual tab level like that is just not going to work for most people, who like me will end up wanting to use this app to see a detailed analysis of metrics for ALL TABS at the same time, for comparison purposes.
This extension most likely will be used for several tabs, maybe even hundreds (as is my case most of the time), and accessing such information in the current fashion is extremely tedious and utterly cumbersome. It's just not going to work well at all!!
I think there needs to be a full UI, either in a pop-up window, or in a new tab, that details, for ALL TABS in one spot, the exact CPU usage, and memory too! (as this extension is called "Tab Metrics", not simply "Tab CPU Usage"). It's a must that this show data for ALL tabs, so we can root out the evil tabs!
I've also noticed that this extension doesn't seem to differentiate CPU cycles per tab. It just seems to reset the count for each tab refresh, but the count still ends up being a total for all tabs, not just one. The count is just reset on a per tab level and incremented accordingly.
I know this is experimental, but I just wanted to provide my insights so that we can build it into the best extension possible! Also, please update the compatibility to 4.0b if possible. Thanks!

I'd find title + page content searching to be more useful, though I'm guessing that'd be a bit more performance intensive. Perhaps it could be an option in the extension's prefs? ;)
This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.3).FavLoc

Please make it easy to add new locations by having a "New Location" to both SAVE the image you've right clicked, as well as to ADD the new location, all in one shot!
Will update my review to 5 stars at that time. ;)
Thanks!

This extension is definitely NOT COMPATIBLE with 3.7a1 and trying to access its OPTIONS renders the Add-Ons window unclickable AND unclosable.
Besides that, this extension here=> https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/6391 is TONS BETTER! (and everything works in 3.7a1 too!)

Would be better if it could hijack search box and location bar entries. Otherwise, it's a bit of an annoyance to use.

Invalid file hash in v3.1b3, unfortunately :(
It's the thought that counts though, isn't it?
Now make it 3.5 compatible!
