This add-on is amazing it just works.
Note: I something sees some errors reply to calendar invites,
but that is the only problem I have ever experienced and
honestly I am not convinced that it is not the exchange server there is the problem.

The only card payment + automatic renewal is definitely not suitable for common corporate environment (corporates still prefer direct payment into bank account!!!) with domain license pack.

Error occur while send email with a large attachment (e.g. 8~10mb)
"The server had an internal error. This is always a problem of the server and not of you or you application."
Try to send on O365 webmail without any error.

Brilliant add on. Works reliably.
I am using it mainly to access my work outlook calendar in thunderbird.
If any issues crop up (usually due to changes in Thunderbird) these get fixed really quick.

Owl Add-on works good.
This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.3.2).Sorry, but manually moving app data folders on disk is not something we can support.
If you want a backup, you can run a copy script and copy the files where you want them.

Hi Raymond, could you please report bugs to owl.support@beonex.com ? The reviews here are not intended for bug reports, and they don't give us enough information to investigate and fix the bugs. We would like to fix the bugs.
If you could please write all technical detail information to our support? They have instructions to forward those bug reports to the development team, particularly after an update like this one.
For this particular issue:
1. Do the folders stay expanded after you collapse them, or do they expand only once?
2. Which folders are still showing up, and which folders are now missing which showed up before?
3. Can you please include the console output (TB menu | Dev | Error console)?
UPDATE: Owl version 1.3.1 fixes the issue. We're waiting for Thunderbird staff to publish the new version.
Meanwhile, you can find it at https://www.beonex.com/owl/owl.xpi

OUTSTANDING customer service. The product works as advertised but what puts the company above all others is their customer service. I had some issues setting it up so I contacted them. Many companies take a day or two to respond, if ever. These folks responded within an hour every time I contacted them. Their solutions were spot on. I was able to get back going promptly.

Still working great with TB 115. I've been using Owl with TB 115 for a while now and haven't noticed any slowdowns or other problems. We are forced to change our server password every 6 months, and in the past that seemed to require me to delete the account in TB and set it up again. However, the last PW change seems to have been handle smoothly. When TB started up it told me the login had failed and prompted me for the password. I entered it, checked the "save" box, and everything "just worked". I don't know if I was doing something wrong in the past, or if it's due to a TB or Owl update, but the one trivial problem I had run into seems to have gone away.

Works out of the box. Comes with one month free trial, which is wonderful for testing or one off usage.
Costs a fraction of the service which it interfaces to.

I am very pleased with Owl. For over ten years, I have had a BT Connect account for the local community magazine of which I am the editor. Bt have converted it to a Microsoft Exchange account configured *as if* the user were a BT employee. Without Owl I would no longer be able to access or use this account with Thunderbird. And for a very modest annual fee OWL is doing its job just fine.

Generally works well.
The only problem is trying to send receipt confirmation, always failing

Loving that extension. While it worked great for a long time it suddenly is not able to login anymore.
It definitively has to do with a change made by my organisation as they enforce more and more things.
I tried https://addons.thunderbird.net/de/thunderbird/addon/owl-for-exchange/reviews/1173697/ but it does not work for me.
What works for me is:
when it happens that it asks for the MFA token (which fails then) I abort and on the user selection screen I choose "Logout and Forget". then logging in again and it works incl MFA token.
This happens when I have left thunderbird open for longer times (I usually do not close it the whole week). Maybe that helps someone else..

Mostly works, but Owl for Exchange does not handle well being regularly logged out (presumably due to my organization's aggressive security policy).
Problems:
1. I regularly have to click through a cumbersome log in process. After being logged out, Owl for Exchange presents a token challenge screen in a Thunderbird tab. If this form sits too long and times out, then to re-establish a connection I must (1) enter a purposefully wrong token code, (2) acknowledge the login failure, (3) log in with username/password, (4) enter token code. If I enter a correct token code at step 1, then Owl for Exchange does not correctly re-establish the connection and I must quit & restart Thunderbird to make it work again.
2. I have lost draft messages several times. If you try to send a message after a connection was lost, it can be lost if you quit and restart Thunderbird. Be sure to copy/paste unsent messages to a text editor before quitting Thunderbird.
3. I regularly have to restart Thunderbird to have Owl re-establish its connection.
Make sure you use Owl for Exchange for a while before paying; some problems only appear after extended use. There is no support.

Since 115 Supernova it's extremely slow and laggy. Opening a new mail sometimes takes 2-5 seconds, and occasionally disappears before appearing again. Deleting mails takes 2-3s.
It's just not a great user experience right now.

Owl extension is the perfect tool on linux to access exchange-based mailing.
Until TB release 102, the addons have worked great, no problem with speed and operation.
After TB released 115, the OWL started to work horribly slow and make TB almost unusable. For example, switching between folders takes 1-2 minutes and TB seems to be frozen. The downloading messages (3-5k in a folder) lasts forever.
Rolling back to TB102 solved the issue. Any suggestion what could be the problem?
Same experience on Win10 and RHEL9 workstation (Ubuntu 22 as well )
Edit: typo and edit (removed unnecessary info and language correction)
Hey 007, Thanks for the praise. I'm surprised to hear that Owl is slow for you since TB 115. I haven't observed that so far. If you would like to work with us to find the cause and maybe a fix, could you please write to our support owl.support beonex.com? (Please reference this message here in the support mail, so that support can process it accordingly.) If you could send us a specific reproduction, so that we can observe the issue, that would help a lot. We can then look at it in engineering and see whether we can reproduce it and maybe fix it.

Works fairly well thanks. For the future, in my opinion, supporting unified folder is a priority. I am one of the users who employs them and at the moment (like it happens for saved searches) any other folder apart from, e.g. inbox, is not retained after restarting Thunderbird. My two cents.
