And it really needs *keyboard shortcuts* for the "Move" and "Close" buttons! ALT-M for Move, ALT-C for Close. So easily done, please add this, if not any of the other suggestions!

I have two separate email accts (both gmail) in Thunderbird but the QuickFileMail only looks at one of the Gmail acct email folders and the other is ignored - is there a way to point to this acct/folder structure also?
Thanks!

Just what I was looking for! Thank you. At first it didn't work but then looked at the options. Once I removed the inbox from the ignore list, I saw my folders. Works with 11.0.1

Using it for a long time (TB 6.0.2) Now I have added XNote++ add on but QuickFileMail stopped working. Please help. I need both add on to work together.

Looks like it'd do about what I need it to do, but unfortunately it has no capability to file the message you're currently viewing if you use separate windows for email messages--you have to go back to the message list for that, which pretty much kills this add-on for me.

I can't access to "options":
Erreur d'analyse XML : entité non définie
Emplacement : chrome://quick_file_mail/content/qfm_options_dialog.xul
Numéro de ligne 6, Colonne 1 :<dialog xmlns="http://www.mozilla.org/keymaster/gatekeeper/there.is.only.xul"

great addon for me,
just some visual enhancement proposals:
would it be possible to have it started but not displayed in menu => alt+q would work?
another question, would it be possible to move it to the same row as "get new messages" and "create a new message" as well as search box is present?
any of these 2 would save me some space for e-mails displaying that is so important for me.
thanks
Thanks for the feedback !
To free room for mail visualisation, you can remove the QFM toolbar, and add it in an existing one by using the "View->Toolbars->Customize..." properties of TB.
Removing QFM from the Tools menu is not an option today, but I can consider it for a future release.

The interface is very nice and has many useful features, like filtering the list and indicating the presence of matches. And, of course, it works as advertised. My only request is that it be easier to use with the keyboard only. There is one key combination to bring up a search window, but it doesn't seem to work properly without using the mouse as well.

Great extension.
But .... my folders tree is pretty long, so when I want to access a folder, I only see the beginning of the path: "Folder1/SubFolder1.1/Sub...".
Would it be possible either to enlarge the display area or ideally display something like this:
"Folder1/SubF.../SubFolder1.1.1"
Cheers

Very good extension, for me it's the best of all the similar I tested. But it would be great to have a shortkey for the "more" button. Something like in Evolution pressing Shift+ctrl+v or like Alt+Q for the Quick filer extension.
Showing the list and filtering it is PERFECT!
Congrats
