In a little more detail...

The Access Firefox Project provides accessibility tools and resources for Firefox end users with visual impairments, and for those without the best visual acuity.

While Access Firefox is not an official Mozilla project, nor is it affiliated with the Mozilla Foundation or Mozilla Corporation, it was created, and is maintained by volunteers from several different Mozilla communities.

Add-on developers (for both themes and extensions) are always needed to create new accessibility related add-ons and to help maintain and update older ones.
We also welcome Firefox accessibility content writers/contributors.

We've recently started creating add-ons for Thunderbird as seen below.

Please contact Ken Saunders at AccessFirefox . org if you are interested in contributing to the project.

Add-ons I've created

Zoom Button for Thunderbird Requires Restart

Zoom in, zoom out, and reset zoom with one toolbar button. Works in the Compose window too.

Bigger Toolbar Buttons Requires Restart

Forces all/any toolbar button icons to be displayed at 38x38 pixels (instead of the default 20x20 pixels). Small icons are displayed at their default size. Works with nearly all themes.
