výborný doplnok,
upraví predmet správy v paneli správ ale nie priamo v správe
to mi umožňuje lepšie organizovanie správ z viacerých účtov
výborne sa dopĺňa s funkciou "Popis"
ďakujem

An EXCELLENT Add-on, but I'm always cautious and wait in updating Thunderbird and checking the Add-on's URL until I am assured the Add-on works, as in the previous edition of Thunderbird, this Add-on failed to work until a long awaited add-on update was made. I'd rather have this add-on working with my current version of Thunderbird than an updated Thunderbird in which this add-on doesn't work. Thanks to the developer!

DANKE

Could be very helpful, if I could change the local/server setting on a Mac OS 10.15.3 and TB 68.5.0. Don't find no settings to change.
Works on Windows 10.
Apparently a Mac OS problem, do you have options for any other extensions you have installed?

Thanks a lot.
As the module was not validated for recent thunderbird versions, I didn't know how to do with emails having bad written subject.

I am super happy to have this extension back again. Thanks to the new developer Dillinger!
Users report the ability to specify "local" or "server" changes. I would definitely opt for "server" but I cannot find such a preference (MacOS el capitan).
It would be great if someone could post the location of the switch.
I would make a contribution if a method were clear!

Thanks a million. I was feeling helpless since 68 launched last month, because, as we've all noticed, some people use useless subject lines, and when you're organizing a big conference (or even a small one)...Yikes!
It should, of course, be standard in T-bird.
One of the previous add-on developers said they couldn't continue to update this, since the payment had been minimal and it just wasn't worth their time. Absolutely.
I'm ready to pay for this invaluable add-on. But I see you don't have a "Contribute" button.

Just one little functionality... But really very very useful extension, well made, and thanks a lot for making it available again for Thunderbird 68*+

Tremendous--the much-missed functionality is back. I'll figure out how to make a contribution. Thanks very much.

That sounds good to me.
Will the old (changed) subject lines be adopted when switching to the new version 2.3?
I'm currently still using Thunderbird 60.x with the old version 2.1.1 and I want to avoid losing all changes when upgrading.
Update:
I've tested it (with option "local only"): There's no data loss during the upgrade. The old changes in the subject lines are kept.
If you unchecked the local only option it won't be a problem.
If you did make your changes local only I'm not sure. This is a different extension and I haven't tested this.

I just downloaded and tested this add-on and it works PERFECTLY, just like the old 'Edit Email Subject' that I used so much! THANK YOU!!! I will proceed to make a small contribution now to show my appreciation for your work.
Folks, this add-on is very useful because correspondents frequently neglect to put something in the subject line at all, or write something useless (like 'meeting'), so I edit the line to write the meeting date, time, place, so I can see at a glance what's what w/o having to open the message. Or when I order something on line, I can add 'RECEIVED' to the subject line so I can see instantly if something's still pending or not.
Such a useful add-on!! Thank you.
