Thanks a lot for you work. This plugin is very helpful.
But it can confirm the bug report of Dani, the "Digitally sign messages (by default)" setting doesn't work. I'm using v.0.3.0, but not the "Virtual identities" add-on.
Regards,
Benni
This plugin does only change the configuration-dialog, nothing else. Thus the reason for "Digitally sign messages (by default)" not working has to be somewhere else. (For me it's working like a charme.)

Thanks a lot for this useful add-on!
One note though:
In v0.3.0, the "Digitally sign messages (by default)" flag seems to be stored with each identity but not evaluated when composing a new message using any of the defined identities.
Might be related to (or even caused by) the fact that I also use the "Virtual identities" add-on. I hope you can reproduce this error on your system.
Thanks
Dani

Great add-on! I am waiting for something like this for a long time. Don´t you think about na other add-on else? TB doesn´t know to associate a S/MIME certificate with a contact. Sometimes you get a digitally signed mail but you need to encrypt the reply with an other certificate. But TB automatically uses the signing certificate and you cannot simply choose the certificate you need... I found this on recommendation in a German security newsletter...
This is definitely what TB prevents from being really business-aware in S/MIME manners.
A pitty that it has not been fixed after submitting of the bug - but thanks for this Add-On!
IMHO, there's no reason to keep this in Sandbox, as many users avoid installing security Add-Ons from the Sandbox...

Works nicely in the way it should (as far as I could test it up to now).
