Hi lagoSRL. With regards the option to clear the search bar...

'Mouse Click / Keyboard 'hot-keys'...very subjective and each to their own. IMHO I think providing mouse click options has a higher priority than keyboard hot-keys with 'the modern average user' in mind. So your point about not being intuitive is really the issue, not the preference. Personally I would really like to see the 'clear button' - just habit! Thanks though, it's very useful.

You bl00dy genius. I'm a 'vertical view' TB user and Quickfilter is hopeless in that view mode. This is sooo damn useful. One small request: can we have a 'X' (or something) in the search bar to clear the current search text in one click?

Maybe I add a 'clear button' like you (and others) propose to clear results in a new minor version. For now, you can use the 'Esc key' to clear the results (press one time Esc to clear the text, and another time to clear all selected filter options); is faster press two times 'Esc key' that use the mouse (I think ;-), but seems not to be intuitive. One appointment: the standard quick filter bar have already this behavior, but it's true that have a clear button too.
