Thank you. This is very useful. I wish there was an extension to turn off ALL the Firefox keyboard shortcuts and enable only the ones we actually want. F11 is the only one I would want to keep. The others are just landmines to surprise you when you drop a book on the keyboard or a cat walks across it.

I was having problems with my up, Down, Page Up,and all the other
control keys. Then I read about the caret key, and this add-on. Now the
keys are working as they should. Many thanks.
