Rise of the Tools
Rated 5 out of 5 stars
I've been trying to get my Thunderbird's tabs down where they belong ever since the TB "developers" decided to screw them up. I've always searched for some variation of "tabs" and "down", when I should have been searching for "toolbar" and "menubar" "up". I must improve my google-fu ...!!
Anyway, this add-on work just fine with TB 38.3.0, running the TT DeepDark theme. Does just what it says, without a bunch of settings or extra cruft to sort thru.
Now let's see how long it will keep working as I hear tell that the "developers" are trying to do away with add-ons for Firefox, and presumably, Thunderbird in the next year ... sigh ...!
Thank you so very much !!!
Classicish Add-on Manager
Rated 5 out of 5 stars
The window just comes up blank except for left-edge icons. Doesn't matter if browser.preferences.inContent is true or false in about:config. I had to go into FF-Safe mode to disable Classicish Add-on Mgr, and now deal with the UGLY Mozilla cruft, that lacks information I want (version #'s). Hope you can fix it soon ...!
Edit:
Thanks for the update! Sorry the Mozdevs have madelife so difficult for most all the add-on developers. Customizeability USED to be one of the great talking-points for using FF. Alas, no longer. Hopefully, when you do get around to fixing Classicish AOM, the rev numbers will be shown again (as they should be). Thanks for all your efforts to do things right, unlike the Mozdevs ...

FoxTab 1.4.10 just does not work with FF 29. Installing just it on a brand new, clean profile will cause items on the navigation line to disappear. Sigh.

On Win8.1 with both FF 28 and 29, FoxTab 1.4.10 works, but does not accept the path to a custom background image. This does work on Win7 though.
See my next review for a more serious problem with it, and CTR (Classic Theme Restorer).

The above title-line says it all (at least on a Win7 box w/FF 11.0).
Glad now that I didn't fiddle with the various workarounds.
Thanks for the fix !!!

Works OK for me on FF 10.0.2 with Shockwave Flash plugin v11.1.102.55, but NOT with the newly released v11.1.102.62 of Flash (I just get my custom background image up, and some on the control icons are misplaced, missing, or overwrite some of the text items).
