CloseReview for QNote by Lockmaster
Rated 3 out of 5 stars
Coming from Outlook, notes that are connected to individual emails are a must for productivity. In outlook it is also accomplished through a paid add-on which is not without issues but my experience is that the entire outlook experience is bugged. Qnote is the reason for making the move as my daily email client. I was ready to donate today to the Dev but I was adjusting the note position and testing out the Toggle (Alt-Q) when the email I was working with suddenly and irrevocably disappeared. Alt-Q worked smoothly a dozen times and then poof - gone. I tried for over an hour to find it. Yes, I looked in Spam, Trash, Draft and even my Deleted Folder. I searched the Qnote storage folder in Explorer but could not read the files. I batch renamed the list of files to *.txt and was able to read them however not one belonged to the deleted email. I'm only trying to warn people because this seems to be a very serious bug and why I am only rating Qnote a 3 for now. I even checked for the message on my server where it should remain untouched as my settings to imap in order to leave files on the server when deleting.
