Hi there - Nice job you did. As a windows user testing Linux, this was a minor annoyance. Thank you for fixing this:).
PS: It would be wonderful if most keyboard shortcuts remain the same regardless of the OS. Ah that was a good dream!

It's really annoying to see Edit>Preferences in all the apps. The Edit menu should be about editing the displayed content, not about Settings and stuff.
It would be great if the Account Settings in Thunderbird were in the Options menu as well.

Wonderful job - minor quibble had to restart SeaMonkey 2.6.1 running on Racy Puppy Linux 5.3
This review is for a previous version of the add-on (2.1.1.1-signed.1-signed).Thanks. Unfortunately, if you were upgrading from a non-restartless version, it can't be helped: a restart is still necessary to *remove* that version, even if it's being replaced by a restartless version. However, it should be truly restartless at this point.
If you weren't upgrading from such a version, however, I'd like to hear more about it. In which case, please submit a support request (find the links next to the description on https://addons.mozilla.org/addon/tools-options-for-linux/ ).

Many moons ago, a man named jwz wrote the Unix version of Netscape Navigator. For unknown reasons, he, in his infinite wisdom, decided that Preferences should go under Edit.
Despite almost two decades, a corporate buyout, an open sourcing, 15 major versions, the triumph of Linux over Unix, and most importantly, thousands of add-ons, all of which place their configuration settings under the Tools menu...
the Preferences menu item has stayed in the place jwz prepared for it.
Today, that curse is lifted!
Wow, thanks. I really could not have said it better. I don't particularly have a problem with Edit > Preferences myself, but for those who do, this is just the sort of thing I would hope for.

Awesome extension. Can you please make it FreeBSD compatible?
This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.1.1-signed.1-signed).I'd be glad to. But I need to know whether the GUI is the same as the Linux version. I think it probably is, in which case I would only need to make a slight change to the install manifest, but it would be nice if someone who's actually using FreeBSD can help. I have no way of contacting you other than by replying here, which is exactly why you should not use reviews to make support requests. If you see this, please contact me through the email link so we can actually have a conversation. Thanks.
