Addon worked OK for the most part, but experienced an ongoing issue with contacts sync against an AWS WorkMail EWS mailbox. I had emailed support a month ago to find out if it was a known issue with WorkMail, but the only response I ever got from "support" was a reminder that the subscription renewal was due soon. I've since cancelled as that kind of response says it all really.
The subscription reminder emails are automated. It was a coincidence that it came after you emailed support. It means that you have your issue about 1 year after you started using Owl.
We offer support on a best-effort basis. We are not able to manually and individually diagnose each issue with an engineer. That's not feasible for 10 Eur per year.
Please note that Owl is for email reading and writing. We are not able to guarantee that contacts sync works in all cases. We also intentionally sync only name and email address, for speed. There are settings in preferences to enable more sync, but it slows sync down.

Lädt ungefragt alle Mails vom Server runter, inklusive zigtausender Synchronisierungsprotokolle.

The basic functionality is excellent, but there is one issue: it is not possible to optimize email folders by deleting emails (there are no items for optimize), which causes local email files to become bloated in my case

After the last update, OWL has been causing difficulty because it "hides" W365 emails with a "read" status: T'bird 128.9.1esr (64-bit) My non-OWL/W365 emails remain visible after viewing. I can now find "read" emails only by using the T'bird Search tool. If I turn on Thunderbird Troubleshoot mode, I can't see my email in 2 different W365 accounts. I hope you can find a fix for this!
We are not able to reproduce this issue. Owl is not involved in the *display* of emails, at all. This is entirely the Thunderbird UI. If you can see the emails during search, that means that you probably did something to filter or hide the messages and are not aware of it. Maybe you have a filter active. In any case, Owl is not at all involved in that. Owl only provides the emails to Thunderbird.
If you enable Troubleshooting mode, Thunderbird disables all addons, including Owl, so of course your Owl account cannot work. That is normal.

After Thunderbird updated to 137, OWL was updated immediately. Very nice! Probably one of the most helpful and up to date pieces of software I rely upon daily. Great support!

It worked until yesterday evening but after Thunderbird was upgraded to version 137 this morning, the add-in no longer works. i hope that the owl developers act quickly.
But still, very usefull if you have to deal with Office365 accounts
We're working on the TB 137 support. I'm sorry that we didn't make it in time for the release. This is a new (and very challenging) process for us, so we're still learning how to deal with the monthly releases.
UPDATE: We have Owl 1.3.7 for Thunderbird 137 ready. It's been reviewed and is online in TB addon store for updates.
UPDATE 2: Would you mind to kindly update your review and rating to reflect this?

Used to work great, doing exactly what it claimed. However it is currently broken for TB 137. Hopefully there's an update soon, however I've not heard back from the developer.

Great plugin that really surpassed my expectations by including a really convenient fully-fledged Teams integration into Thunderbird. I was originally only looking for a simple solution to sync my O365 calendar.
The 1 lacking star is for a bug I've had to work around. The initial MS login part of the setup procedure has to be done under X11 when running Linux. Not that big a deal, but still.

It used to work pretty well, but since I migrated from TB 128 ESR to TB 136 release, I've found two very annoying bugs:
- It doesn't work if you have Unified Folders, because the Inbox is not shown in the unified Inbox folder.
- The Filters doesn't apply automatically, you have to apply it manually every time.
Authors of the addon aren't responding to emails.

This addon is very good, and I have been using it for several years. The icing on the cake is that there is a top-notch, highly responsive team behind it! The version 1.3.6 is good

After trying to fight to setup O365 for a couple of days I decided to try Owl.
I can say is worth every penny. Very straightforward setup and it even adds a tab with Teams. I can finally see all my folders, which I couldn't with IMAP.
If you use O365 on a daily basis, it is definitely worth the asking price.
Thanks for your kind words! This is very encouraging for us.

This is a great addon.
It would be even better if I was able to hide folders from the account that I do not want to see. Just like the SubScribe/Unsubscribe functionality in an IMAP account.
For example I would like yo hide the Archive for day to day use.

Thank you for this great extension.
Are you planning to support the Thunderbird RELEASE channel ? The extension is stuck to version 128 (ESR) at the moment.

Owl works globally well, but I have a question regarding one of my Exchange accounts installed on Thunderbird and running with Owl:
Is there a way, in Thunderbird, to add to one of my two Exchange accounts a shared mail box linked to that account? Thanks for your answer

This add-on is amazing it just works.
Note: I something sees some errors reply to calendar invites,
but that is the only problem I have ever experienced and
honestly I am not convinced that it is not the exchange server there is the problem.

Brilliant add on. Works reliably.
I am using it mainly to access my work outlook calendar in thunderbird.
If any issues crop up (usually due to changes in Thunderbird) these get fixed really quick.
