My Reviews

Gruvbox Dark Thunderbird

Rated 4 out of 5 stars

Very nice & easy on the eyes! And little if any BLUE.

One minor issue: When Quick Filter is active, the buttons for Sender, Recipient, Subject and Body do not remain highlighted after being toggled on.

Aside from that FIVE STARS!

URL Link

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

This is extremely useful because you can configure it to open custom URLs with selected text embedded. For example, you could highlight a product brand name in an email someone sent you, and then open it using Amazon url for that brand.

*Very Sad it doesn't work in Thunderbird any more since v78 *

Colored Folders

Rated 1 out of 5 stars

Doesnt work. Installs, but "Colored Folders... >" is greyed out and does nothing. Really was hoping this would work.

TBird 68.4.2, Addon version 1.3.5 (feb 3). Windows 8.1.

Tried removing all other addons and themes, still did not work.

Account Colors

Great add-on. Bummer that Mozilla turned it off in Tbird 60.

Theme Font & Size Changer for ThunderBird

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

This is a great add-on! It's a complete shame that FFox Quantum won't support this any more. Thanks for adding a TBird specific version now that FFox Quantum doesnt work with it. Could you make a similar version for Firefox ESR so that we can continue to use it, but not get updates on the version used by FFox Quantum?

Toolbar Buttons

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Have been using it for years in FFox and TBird. So many of the buttons are Essential, they should have been built into v1.1 of both. Sorry to see it go. We'll sure miss you!

Download Status Bar

Can hardly live without it!

Toolbar Buttons

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Extremely useful buttons! So many, in fact, that it exposes the shortcomings of FFox's built-in customizer: need to be able to simulate button action while in the customizer.

Saved Password Editor

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

If you do anything with saved password, this is an essential add-on.

about:addons-memory 2016

Rated 4 out of 5 stars

Helpful from time to time. Uses a fair bit of memory itself, so install it, and then enable/disable as needed.

ProfileSwitcher

Rated 4 out of 5 stars

Extremely useful and helpful! Almost 5 stars except that it is difficult to set options to launch links between Thunderbird and two Firefox profiles. Frequently get "Thunderbird|Firefox is already running" error. Sometimes links clicked from Thunderbird open in non-default Firefox profile.

(MOZ_NO_REMOTE and new_instance options need to be documented better).

Color Folders

Rated 4 out of 5 stars

I'd give this 5 stars if it still worked.

Account Colors

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

I wish I found this years ago! I had to undo lots of customizations in chrome.css file to get this to work, but well worth it! Suggestions:
1. stripe the thread pane too.
2.when a selected row is darkened, its font becomes unreadable when a row in another pane is selected. fix that.

Color Folders

Rated 2 out of 5 stars

Can only color folders that are not otherwise special. Was hoping to be able to color all my INBOXs green text, trash in RED text, across all accounts.... and also color each account heading with something that stands out like Yellow text on black background.
