What did you do with Rainbowpicker? It is no longer available in Thunderbird e-mail. I used it all the time. Please bring it back.

Does not work with Thunderbird 38.6.0

Just about two years since the last review (not mine), and this works great with Thunderbird 31.6.0. I'm now able to choose whatever colors I like for individual Lightning calendars (haven't tried anything else in Lightning yet).
Note: it's also possible to change the Inbox subject line tag colors and the color does appear in the Tools > Options > Display > Tags box but, unfortunately, Thunderbird reverts to black in the Inbox. I don't believe this is the fault of the Rainbowpicker.
At any rate, thanks so much for this!

Great addon! Works perfectly.

I'm using this in Thunderbird and it's greatly appreciated.
I've been trying to find an easy way to customize my (Lightning) calendar colors because the color picker provided has a very limited amount of colors and most of them I don't care for, but now I can use any color that I desire.
Sincere thanks for your time, work, and effort put into developing this add-on.

"Fixed issue with colorpicker values not updating in option dialogs"
Sure?... I use FF 3.6.8 and I cannot see the current color in the option dialog window. I have to click on the colorless square to see the whole rainbow colors.

It would be perfect, though, if the pop-up window origin didn't position itself to the left and above the screen origin. ;)

This would be very useful in Thunderbird, but does not work in any version, including 5. (Get it to work there and I would happily give it 5 stars.)

Would be excellent, but doesn't quite work in Thunderbird 5. Specifically, TB5 doesn't recognize colors for tags that aren't in the built-in table: they simply default to white.

Could very well be the MRTB, because it seems that it is easily disabled.
Clap my hands, stamp my feet and multirow bookmarks toolbar loses its "multirows".
Problem is I need the MRTB more than I need to change the default FF5 colors - which not even Helen Keller could appreciate.

Thank you for this very useful add on and for fixing the options dialogs problem so quickly.

I wrote the author a couple of days ago to ask if he would bump up the maxversion, since I had been using the extension without problems in various Firefox 4 betas. I was also bothered by the fact that the window always appeared in the top left corner of the screen. Imagine my surprise when he fixed both issues that same day!
As for the extension itself, it does exactly what it says. It's one of those common-sense features that should have been included in Firefox in the first place.

I was really looking forward to being able to use this addon, but it it cannot be installed due to incompatibility with the latest version of Thunderbird. I am very disappointed - are there any plans to rectify the compatibility issue?

It's great esp. for the background of emails to send.
I could never find a color in the limited TBird pallet that I was happy with; now I have an unlimited selection and quickly found that perfect hue!
Quick and easy to install and use.

Extensions for colors are coupled with something else, but I was looking for just-a-color-picker, I get it now !
Thx.
