My Reviews
LookOut (fix version)
Rated 5 out of 5 stars
I've been waiting for that for YEARS!! EVERYONE USES OUTLOOK I'TS SO INFURIATING
WHERE CAN I DONATE
LookOut
Rated 1 out of 5 stars
I installed this to try to open a mail with a winmail.dat file attached. After restarting thunderbird after installing the add-on, the mail wasn't there anymore. Disabled the add-on, the mail isn't coming back.
Copy Folder
Rated 1 out of 5 stars
It creates folders from saved searches (virtual folders) in the destination, and then it freezes after creating the folders, without copying anything.
Speed Dial
Rated 3 out of 5 stars
1. It would be much better with an option to automatically load frequently accessed pages in the dials
2. Could use a more efficient interface for setting the URL in each dial. Right now the only practical way is to have the speed dial in a separate window and drag tabs in the dials. For exemple, you could have a list of the frequently accessed pages when you right click on a dial, or of the recent history, or of the actually opened tabs.
3. It doesn't work in blank new windows
4. Way too many options to customize the look, we get lost.
Mail Summaries
Rated 4 out of 5 stars
Very good idea and nice set of features. Unfortunately, this add-on is not customizable yet, so you are stuck with a (too short) preview of latest mails, a list of frequent correspondants, a short list of drafts, disk space used and some other stats. In my case, I only care for an aggregated list of all the mails in the account's different folders, but I cannot make it bigger. It would be fairly simple to make the different panels optionnal, and make the remaining panels use up all the available space. Also, it doesn't include the mails in the subfolders in the summaries, and there is (yet) no option for this.
This review is for a previous version of the add-on (2.1.3).Shrunked Image Resizer
Rated 2 out of 5 stars
I use this add-on because it is about the only image resizer extension available for thunderbird. However, if often fails to offer to resize the images when importing an image. It also often pops up when we don't want to resize any images. I do not see why image resizing should be "automatic" (triggered when images are imported) instead of just adding an option when we click the image to resize it. Moreover, since it often fails, and because a user can change his mind, it should be possible to resize an image even after it is imported, which doesn't seem to be the case right now.
This review is for a previous version of the add-on (3.1.1-signed).To create your own collections, you must have a Mozilla Add-ons account.
