The Thunderbird junk filter doesn't tell you much about what it's up to. This add-on provides the information you need, and extra training buttons. It's an extremely welcome add-on provided by a developer who takes great pains to ensure that it keeps up to date with new versions of Thunderbird. It would be nice if the "mark and train" functions provided by the add-on's buttons could be duplicated in the right-click menu for an individual message, but that's a very minor point.

Extremely useful supplement to Signature Switch. However, I can't stop T-Bird adding the signature by default to new messages, even if I add the specified line to prefs.js.

Thanks for the additions -- it's great to see the extra function added. Unfortunately the instant move doesn't work for me. I've set it to move messages to a local folder, but when I hit the appropriate hot key a dialog pops up for a very brief instant, and the message isn't moved to the local folder. The same happens -- or, rather, doesn't happen -- for instant copy.

Thanks very much for your most welcome contribution. Suggestions:
1. In the Alt-Q dialog, offer the previously-selected folder as default.
2. I agree with kastelrojo's point 3.
3. As with Quick File, add another hot key which immediately files messages to a pre-selected folder. This is useful when there's one folder you save a lot of your message to.
Thanks!

Can I add my voice to those encouraging the author to make it compatible with Thunderbird 3? Nostalgy can indeed be used, but its default move-to folder is changed every time you move a message to a different folder. This means that you can't unthinkingly rely on Shift-S to send a message to your standard "move-to" folder.

I've adapted to this add-on very quickly, and it's proving invaluable. I have it set so that the "instant move" feature moves read incoming mail to an archive folder, which speeds things up nicely. It makes it very quick and easy to search for folders that are buried deep in folder trees, too.
It does have one flaw, which has been pointed out by a number of others: once the message has been filed, no message is selected, so you have to select the next message using the mouse, which interferes with the workflow. If this were fixed I'd happily move this up to five stars.
