When I click the button the email vanishes but I don't know if a report has been sent.

It's been broken again for a while, as they have officially dropped support for it.
This is anything but 'expert'.

It says it is compatible, but then it won't install because it;s not compatible. Please fix this. Thank you. 68.7.0.

Con figuration dialogue overwrites focused window, and essentially crashes T-Bird. 60.6.1 (32-bit), Windows.

Repeat post: cannot install into my current Thunderbird version by any known means. Version is 66.0b2 (32-bit). Give me an address and I will send you a screen shot - can't paste it into this box.

This has really worked well for me, up until Thunderbird decided to disable it because it's not compatible with the latest version. I liked this addon so much that I had left Thunderbird for another e-mail client, but came back just so I could use this addon.
I hope the guys at Spam Experts can make whatever changes are necessary to get this working again!
The plugin has been updated for compatibility with the latest Thunderbird versions.

I am trying to use this add-on with Thunderbird 64.0b2 (32-bit), which I realize is not explicitly supported. However, the add-on does import correctly into Thunderbird. Problem is, when I set the options, the settings do not save. The options window appears over the app screen with a transparent background, and the only way to dismiss the window is to force close it. Can you fix it so that the options window can be closed normally with the settings saved?

What is fundamentally missing is to report all the malware
Spamexperts fails to detect. They are very poor in malware detection as they use ClamAv which has a poor reputation.
They average a 38% detection rate which is very poor.

This plugin is good, in that it's a lot less of a hassle than logging in to the spamexperts website, saving the email to a file, and uploading it with a browser.
However, it needs a couple of things:
1) the ability to report ham as well as spam
2) a button for the main toolbar, not just the message header toolbar
3) on the spamexperts website itself, some way of finding mails that have been reported, and unreporting them or changing ham/spam status. (In case you fatfinger the wrong mail and report it by mistake.)
Thank you for providing this feedback. It's much appreciated. We are now looking for ways to see how we can add these features.
For the following:
- 3) on the spamexperts website itself, some way of finding mails that have been reported, and unreporting them or changing ham/spam status. (In case you fatfinger the wrong mail and report it by mistake.)
Please open a support ticket directly for this, as this is related to the interface and not the addon.
Thank you again for sharing this with us.
