My Reviews

TbSync

Rated 3 out of 5 stars

Still not adapted to Thunderbird 128.

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (4.8).

Nord Dark

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Looks good. Remove outline color from calendar please. And use stronger highlight color for selected mail subject.

Dracula Theme for Thunderbird

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Looks great in T91! Complete Dark theme.
I just wish selected mails had a stronger highlight color.

Windows Taskbar Unread Badge

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

What a great addon! It's working perfectly on my system and the configuration options to just show unread badge for mails in inbox folders is perfect.
Thank you for the great addon!

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (3.0.0).

Compact Headers

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Works perfectly and a nice replacement to the Compactheader extension.

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (2.5).

So simple yet so good.

DeepDark for Thunderbird

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Finally the best Thunderbird theme is available for version 68. :D

I have a personal preference of increasing the spacing of the message row list. If you changed that yourself it would be awesome, but nothing that some userChrome.css tinkering doesn't fix anyway.

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (13.0.1).

FolderFlags

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

This add-on allowed me to set the "Deleted Items" folder of my institution e-mail provided by Microsoft an fowarded by IMAP as the Trash folder in Thunderbird.
There was no option in Thunderbird to define the Trash folder. Weird, considering that you can pretty much define any other folder.

This was done in the latest stable release so 5 out of 5.

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.2.6).

Monterail

Rated 2 out of 5 stars

The theme is great but it has some bugs and annoyances that were reported to the maintainer. He acknowledged them but never released a fix.

Meanwhile, Monterail Dark and Full Dark were released and polished by another dev and are now in much better shape.

Monterail Full Dark

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

If you want a fully dark theme for Thunderbird, this is the one. With this last update, Full Dark is truly fully dark, including the search tabs and the Today Pane. It also has none of the niggles that plague the initial Monterail theme.
These themes should be installed by default with Thunderbird. They're that good.

If I could I would give this a 6 out of 5 stars.

The Monterail Dark and Full Dark themes look great. It's great that now there is an easy way to install the Monterail themes and that they work better with the Write pop-up.

These themes are essential to make Thunderbird look like an e-mail client for 2018 (also adopting a vertical view helps with that).

The developer is very responsive, polite and fast in addressing issues. He quickly resolved conflicts that did not allow to have multiple Monterail themes installed!

With 1.1.2 he polished the tab bar with maximized windows AND made the Calendar and Tasks sidebar adopt the dark color of the theme. And they look gorgeous!!

Checkbox Column

Works perfect, and is great even in non-touch screens to select multiple e-mails.

Monterail Full Dark

Rated 4 out of 5 stars

The Monterail Dark and Full Dark themes look great. It's great that now there is an easy way to install the Monterail themes and that they work better with the Write Window.

The developer resolved the conflicts with the other Monterail themes. Now you can have multiple Monterail themes installed!

Just reinstall the theme following the steps mentioned by the dev.

Also, when the thunderbird window is maximized in Windows 10, the tab/minimize/maximize/close titlebar is cropped (noticeable when hovering the mouse over them).

Also, the Calendar sidebar does not assume the theme colors.

Monterail Full Dark

Rated 3 out of 5 stars

It conflicts with the other Monterail themes. Can only have one Monterail theme installed at a time.

Also, when the thunderbird window is maximized in Windows 10, the tab/minimize/maximize/close titlebar is cropped.

It also conflicts with Monterail theme from Paenglab. I have to follow the steps mentioned in the instalation whenever I want to change the theme, and that's a hassle. Please fix this so that I can have multiple Monterail themes installed.

GNotifier

Rated 2 out of 5 stars

Hopefully the dev is still active and will update it to work with Thunderbird 60.
It makes notifications look at home in Windows 10.

Events spanning multiple days

Rated 2 out of 5 stars

Unfortunately it has conflicts with Provider for google Calendar. :(

Checkbox Column

Rated 4 out of 5 stars

Would be nice if one could adjust the size of the checkbox. The primary use might be for touchscreens but it's also useful for normal use. Therefore, the checkbox size could come in a smaller size as well. :)

Reply to Michael Ganss: the only choice I have in the extension options is "Use a large font in the messages list". Nothing about changing the size of the checkbox. I would like for the checkbox specifically to be a bit smaller.
Improved your rating to 4 stars by the way. Your extension is more recent than Quick Multi-select and more functional.
