My Reviews
Quicker Filer
Rated 5 out of 5 stars
For me this is an indispensable extension, now integral to my use of Thunderbird. I don't want to imagine managing mail without it. My only complaint, [update: doesn't exist!, see developer response] <strike>a small one, is that the dialog is too narrow to show long folder names (think nested).</strike>

Clipta does not leverage your cache, but downloads the video independently for each action. Thus for any given video you may end up downloading it 3 times: a) when start playing the video in the browser (so Clipta can see it in the first place), b) when you press Play in the Clipta Downloader window, and c) when you press Download in the Clipta Download window. If you're on metered bandwidth you definitely don't want this extension.

If you're on metered bandwidth you may want to look somewhere else. Clipta is nice but hungry: it doesn't leverage your firefox cache, but downloads the video independently. Since you have start playing the video before Clipta can see it, and thus you start filling your cache you either end up downloading every video you wish save twice, or do a lot of dancing around with the play & back/close tab buttons.
