My Reviews
Extra Folder Columns
Rated 5 out of 5 stars
Using 1.1.1 with TB 3.1.7
Works well, great addition to TB -- should be in by default.
Recommend adding column for showing "Tags", able to select which tags to display
Easier than creating a filter and updating when you have many accounts and folders and new ones are always created
Extra Folder Columns
Rated 5 out of 5 stars
Using Ver. 1.1.1 in TB 3.1.7
Should be in TB by default.
Perhaps could use some additional options/columns, such as instead of just "Unread" you could have it display Tags. I know that's a feature in TB search and I can create filters -- but that is not "Live" enough for me and I think it'd be very useful in this extension.
Manually sort folders
Rated 5 out of 5 stars
Using Ver 0.6.6 in TB 3.1.7
This definitely should be included in Thunderbird by default. Anyone using mail clients I think expects this feature.
It functions great, looks good and has simple useability.
It beats FolderPaneTools 0.6 because:
1. Allows for sorting of folders, not just accounts
2. Has same sorting options, but more sort methods
3. Easy to get to sorting in the Tools menu
4. Better GUI, both in look and function
Folderpane Tools
Rated 3 out of 5 stars
This add-on ( ver. 0.6) is working fine for me in TB 3.1.7
But there is a better implementation with extension "Manually sort folders" (ver. 0.6.6)
1. Allows for sorting of folders, not just accounts
2. Has same sorting options, but more sort methods
3. Easy to get to sorting in the Tools menu
4. Better GUI, both in look and function
I tried both, and for now "Manually Sort Folders" just does it better
