This add-on hasn't been updated since May 2011 and does not work with current versions of Thunderbird.

KIndly send me the solution to send the message. I am using Thunderbird 31.5.0.
It will be very help if this add on can be used

I installed the addon. Thunderbird confirms its there. I do not see it anywhere in Thunderbird or how to use the form.
I wanted to like it.

You need to be a "programmer" to use this - don't bother.

To theraveace: Thanks for solution. Would it be possible also make any change which sends message immediately after clicking Send, without opening compose message window (as in 'original' add-on)?

Until the developer fixes the problem, here is the solution. Steps:
1. extract: telephone_message-1.3-tb.xpi
2. edit: chrome\mydialog.js
3. replace this line: var compose = sMsgComposeService. InitCompose (window, params);
with this line: var compose = sMsgComposeService. OpenComposeWindowWithParams (null, params);
4. save, repack (zip), install
If it switches off your signature permanently, replace this line too:
params. identity. attachSignature = false;
with this: params. identity. attachSignature = true;

I have the same issue with the sending. The button "Send" does nothing. I've checked the error console of thunderbird, and it sais that
"Időbélyeg: 2013.01.14. 8:26:40
Hiba: TypeError: sMsgComposeService.InitCompose is not a function
Forrásfájl: chrome://telephonemessage/content/mydialog.js
Sor: 77"
I hope this helps You to fix the problem.
Thank You!

This no longer works; the Send button does not send regardless of making the change described above.

This is a great idea but I can't get it to work. I've set the default account but it's just not sending. Also after I've tried to send and given up by closing the window, the path to my signature is lost. Don't know if that helps.

It worked very well with my previous version of Thunderbird. It does not work though with Thunderbird 5.0 (although it is noted as compatible, it is not). The message window opens but the message cannot be sent.I look forward to the update. I came to depend on this excellent add-on!

It would be nice if we could access this from the message drop down tab in Thunderbird instead of using the icon which would give users a choice
