thinbox keeps your inbox manageable with simple rules based on sender or subject. Set limits by message age or how many to keep, and it will automatically archive, trash, or delete anything beyond those limits. It works independently of Thunderbird's built-in message filters.You can create separate rules for both senders and subjects, choosing whether to keep messages by age or by a specific count.
thinbox then removes older or excess messages, leaving only what you want to keep. It runs automatically on a schedule or whenever you choose to trigger it.Feature Reference

Safety Behaviour
- Starred messages are never moved, trashed or deleted by any rule or on-demand sweep
- Dry run mode processes all logic and logs results but makes zero changes to messages
- All bulk destructive actions (delete all rules, reset data, remove harvested) require explicit confirmation via inline dialogs
