This add-on couldn't be simpler. Install it, and HTML5 full-screen videos will work, just like Flash videos used to.

... with seaMonkey 2.45 and also with English SeaMonkey 2.47a1 (NT 6.1; Win64; x64; rv:50.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/50.0 Build 20160712001326 (Default Classic Theme) on German WIN7 64bit

Very usefull add-on! For the first I want to say Thanks for it. It'll be better if it'll show panels in fullscreen mode on mouseover event not only in top of screen but on bottom too. Cause sometimes tab panel is in the bottom. Also needed a little timeout when hide/show panels.

I hate the look of most modern day browsers...that's why I use seamonkey... But... unfortunately it has a whole lot of flaws. It's performance on youtube being one. It's sad that seamonkey is literally the only browser that hasn't caught up with properly allowing you to do what you want in fullscreen (ie, html5 videos) and I was very close to finding an alternate browser entirely if it kept up. I don't like fullscreen that often as I usually multitask. But I use it enough that I want it available.
And that's where this comes into play. There's not much to say about it. It finally opens the option to use fullscreen again. It works perfectly, at least for what I need it for.

I was getting annoyed at YouTube for not letting me use fullscreen anymore, then I looked into it and found it was sort of a Sea Monkey issue. Also found this add-on installed it. After installation all I had to do was reload the open YouTube page I was on and full screen worked perfectly. Total, complete edge to edge full screen, without even a mouse pointer. If you move the mouse, the video title and sharing options superimpose at the top, and player controls at the bottom. They fade out if you don't use them. Don't know about the comments above, but this about as complete functionality as you can get, in my experience

It used to work fine, but not anymore. Firefox shouldn't need this addon, but it cannot resolve full screen either. Opera and Safari do fullscreen fine on embedded videos, so it seems to be a YouTube X Mozilla incompatibility.

As the title says, I can't go fullscreen on embedded youtube videos. It just says fullscreen disabled.?
This user has a previous review of this add-on.This appears to not be SeaMonkey's fault - at this moment embedded videos don't work in other browsers as well, not even in Chrome. Maybe some temporary technical problems on YouTube?
If you find a video that works full screen in other browsers but not in SeaMonkey then please report it to my contact email.

This extension does not provide full screen. Yes, it removes the navigation toolbar. But all the controls at the bottom are still visible and at Youtube they are shown in a distorted very large size. Plus, mousing over the top of screen does NOT return the navigation toolbar. It returned my tabs only ...not the navigation bar nor the menu bar. I had to close and reopen SeaMonkey to get the toolbars back. This is on Windows 8.0 Pro.
Full screen means NOTHING is seen except the video. Even the mouse pointer is hidden. The video I tried was playing with side bars in the so called full screen! On Fx 41 and Pale Moon it plays in true full screen and no side bars. Of course, it plays using Flash on those browsers.
There is no way to get SeaMonkey to play videos in full screen. I installed the extension I use on Fx and Pale Moon to force Youtube to play in Flash Player and even then I could not get SeaMonkey to play a video full screen. It still showed the controls at the bottom (but not at the top and no black bars on the sides). Fx and Pale Moon used to do that but that was several versions back.
Maybe some day SeaMonkey will be able to do full screen videos so I can use it for TWCTV but as it is now another browser has to be used for videos.
If you don't have true full screen with this extension then it means you must have something installed on your system that conflicts with it - possibly another extension, a third-party theme or custom script or style. There are so many different combinations of these out there that it's possible some of them will clash and it's almost impossible to test them all. I'd suggest trying in a clean profile.
And BTW, YouTube full screen works very well in SeaMonkey with this extension, which means no navigation bars anywhere, no video controls and no mouse pointer, just the video and nothing else!

I don't know why but about two weeks ago, Youtube fullscreen stopped working in SeaMonkey (maybe I used the Flash player and they finally ditched it for good?).
This addon restored it!

Works like a charm.

Great - a good old bug is solved by this add on.
It would be great if the status bar could appear when mousepointer is on the bottom of the page.

Very useful with html5 video in Youtube. Should be integrated directly in Seamonkey
