Add-ons I've created

XNote++

Persistent sticky notes associated to emails. You can fulltext search with constraints/email them/print/bookmark/copy to clipboard.

If you have a large screen, you can even display the notes outside of TB's main window, so it won't hide anything.

attachment column in search result list Requires Restart

Show the column for attachments in search results list. General search (edit-> search -> search emails) does not show by default if a message has attachments.
This addon adds this column, just as in a normal folder view.

Bookmarks: eMails and XNotes - Quick 'Jump To'

Bookmark Toolbar and Menu for easy switching to emails and XNotes.

While you can already 'star' or 'tag' emails, they are still hidden in their (deeply nested?) folder and are not in direct daily view.

Bookmark them!

My Reviews

GlodaQuilla search indexing enhancements

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

I updated the addon again, for 78. The columns show (when chosen), and in/exclusion of folders is possible.

If you are on mobile, the on Disk Status column may be helpful.

It is available here: https://addons.thunderbird.net/de/thunderbird/addon/glodaquilla-ng-index-ondisk/
Thanks to rkent for the initial addon.

Quick Folder Move

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

I don't want to take any users away from QFM, but Philipp implied on the Nostalgy github page that he is not updating or extending QFM right now.

Several users mentioned Nostalgy her in the reviews. Manage Emails/Nostalgy++ is finished for TB 78, even with some new actions, I will upload it to https://addons.thunderbird.net/de/thunderbird/addon/nostalgy_ng/ for review tomorrow morning. Review by TB team will probably take a few days.

@Philipp - If you think this message is in the wrong place, please feel free to delete it. I thought the note might help some power users with many folders and rules.

MessagePreview

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

In an environment where my business partners start all their emails with:

subject: re: xyzxy (and never change the xyzxy over 30 replies),
this addon is truely helpful to find the one message in the sequence of re's that I need.

thanks,

Klaus

one question: the body is fetched on hover or pre-fetched on folderdisplay? (= efficiency on really large folders or offline use)?

ColumnsWizard

you just need to add the css for the options (setings.xul) to make them working again. See the 57 addon document, somewhat hidden, I oversaw it for my addons as well:

add "<?xml-stylesheet type="text/css" href="chrome://messenger/skin/preferences/preferences.css"?>
" without the "

GlodaQuilla search indexing enhancements

I updated the addon for TB 60 - at least glodaid and ondisk seem to work.

Show Calendar Week

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

to say I have been desperate about this may be a bit exaggerating but ...
I love business phone conversations like this:
'let's do that in calendar week xx' ... Then I have short look at lightning ... grrh why didn't I stay with Outlook (I hate it) ... some guesswork: could it be Mar 21-27th??? Or trying to find a way to ask the business partner without confessing that I don't know the week numbers ...

Finally, that is gone now. really useful addon.

Reply Monitor

see also comment below.
Unfortunately, can't follow re - messages.
That happens even if there is no re in the subject line. It seems TB or the addon get that elsewhere.

That really is a pity - 80% of my emails are a re on some other message.

Reply Monitor

Rated 4 out of 5 stars

in a communication tree, soon there is a collection of
messages -re --re re --- re re re etc.
If I answer a single email and my mail starts with re: subject, it is immediately noted as 'already replied to' after sending. Doesn't wait for actual replies to come in. Win 7, newest TB.

For messages without re: very convinient addon
