Is there an update that works with the more recent versions of TB?

Rated 5 stars as is a great extension pre V.68.
Please update for TB Version 68

I used this add-on as an additional tool to filter junk email. Please udate a.s.a.p. Why does it take so long?

I was able to get this to work in TB60 after going into Advanced Settings-Config Editor, searching for 'strictcom' and setting that to FALSE. That disables Strict Compatibility which is a new element in TB60. After did this, my contact photos reappeared in my email headers. However, PLEASE!! update this Add-on.

Great! But please update for Thunderbird 60!

But please add functionality to show the picture from additional email address.

It would be better if it didn't show the default photo for users without photo.

Love this addon. Does mostly what I want it to do, except where a contact has more than one address.
If you receive an email from a contact where the address is the additional address, the addon does not display the photo. Would be perfect if it did!

It doesn't show contact photos at all. When I click on the placeholder where the contact photo should go, I receive an error message that states "Please add this contact to your address book (click the star next to 'from') before trying to edit the photo".
However, the contact's photo is invariably already inserted in the contact's details in both my Thunderbird and Apple contacts (which are synced on my computers). And, for what it's worth, Apple Mail invariably shows the photo.
Awaiting a reply from the developer…

Does exactly what it's designed to do. Replaces Display Contact Photo.

Nice but it would be nicer if it hide photo for senders without photo

Works with Thunderbird 24.1.0, and does the job.

Small and lightweighted, but it works with Tb 24.0.1. Fine!

Very nice add-on that makes reading and writing email a more personal experience.

Great.
Only missing thing: I don't want to see a "Photo Placeholder" (Thunderbird's Standard Gravatar), if there's no real contact photo available. Please, just display nothing in that case (as if that Add-On would be installed).

Love it! I set the photo height to 16ch, displaying on the right and it is just ideal. It doesn't steal your contacts or do anything to make you worry. Very nice.
The one change I would like to see would be the option to use Gravatar (non case sensitive) but without having a *default* icon for when one isn't found as I much prefer the simplicity of Thunderbird's default profile icons.

Reposting as the title is not seen publically and then my former review did not make much sense.
Gravatar needs the email address to be lowercased before making the MD5 hash.
From my testing (and introspection of the code) it seems that this is not done.
Otherwise a nice addon :)

So the email address should be lowercased before the MD5 hash is calculated.
It seems from my testing that you don't do this lowercasing of email.
Otherwise, a nice addon :)

This plugin looks really good. Unfortunately it behaves strangely on my computer. When I enable Contact photo, after a while, Thunderbird keeps searching and cannot load my emails anymore. When I disable this plugin, everything works back again.
For info, I am using TB3 with an IMAP account.
