Awesome! Works Great! I no longer have to keep chat open in a different window. I love the fact that my email, calendar, tasks, and chat are all integrated into one app.

All good so far. Convenient to have in Thunderbird. Basically like the web interface.

Love the app, though recent mozilla update broke filesharing for excel files atleast and some files even disappeared from files tab.

Although I have multiple Google (IMAP) email accounts connected to Thunderbird, I am not able to switch to one of my other accounts on Chat Tab.

Unfortunately the addAon doesn't remember the correct login data for google chat.
It takes other login data e.g. from google notes (if it's in another tab), but this is wrong.
Please consider, that there are always different accounts to deside private, work or additional voluntary jobs)!
Please fix this bug.

There are two problems with Google chat tab
1. The notifications can not be activated in TB Tab
2. when start Google Meet there is a message, for allowing Mic and camera, but there is no option in the window to do this.

The setup looks good, I set up my Google credentials, I get the verification check on my phone, approve it, Google says Thunderbird is authorized, and...
Error: Not authorized (Did you enter the wrong password?)
Yes, I entered the correct password (or Google wouldn't have messaged my phone to confirm it).
Any ideas?

Well, it's better than TB's built-in chat, since I have never been able to get that to work. But this one doesn't provide notifications when new chat messages come in. I mean, at least a colored dot on the system tray icon (as TB does for new email)?!? And it gives no indication of new messages at all (i.e. not even within TB) if you close the chat tab. I was hoping the whole idea of installing an add-in was that it could monitor things. But if I have to keep it open all the time, then I might as well keep a browser window open for it all the time. It's no better or worse then Google's own chat app for Windows (which also has no notifications or system tray operation.

So much better than the default TB chat (not knocking TB chat, it does almost exactly what it needs to), the only minor gripe is that I don't get desktop notifications from the add-on.

Thanks a load for this useful tool. It works like a charm, even for TB 91.4.0 (64-bit) from snap.
