Menu Editor II
Rated 1 out of 5 stars
are people actually using this in the latest TB? all i get when i try to install is this error message:
Menu Editor II 0.0.5 could not be installed because it is not compatible with Thunderbird 2.0.0.17.
(Menu Editor II 0.0.5 will only work with Thunderbird versions from 1.1a1 to 1.5.0.*)
long time FD user, too many bugs so i finally dumped it and switched over to SD. so far so good.
request #1: a way to set a default background for empty cells, possibly on a per-group basis. i use dark themes and the default white background is WAY too bright.
request #2: a way to move cells between groups, drag and drop would be ideal.
(is there a proper place to make feature requests?)

Trying it after bailing on ThunderBayes. So far so good, no outrageous Java load here.

Works great when it works but the errors -- sporadicly crashing, forgetting it’s settings, disabling itself -- are a PITA. Would’ve been nice if there’d been better support (see the man's site ... 59 comments on the Oct'07 release but nothing happening). As it is I've had to “Uninstall” it, and fix up all of my TB accounts after it was gone. :(

love it! now that i've been using it a while i can't imagine TB, or FF, without it. could use a couple tweaks here and there ("view reminder" for a given message in the thread pane would be heaven) but that's just me being greedy. :p
This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.6.3).XNote Plus

Tried it, like it, but similar to the other reviewer the Notes column doesn't seem to be working for me. I have a 'merged' folder for work related stuff that is threaded. In there no indicator that a note is attached. :(
