WAT (WebApplicationTab)
Rated 4 out of 5 stars
I give this add-on an 8/10. It actually works the majority of the time, making it one of the best add-ons of this type. However, the feature to have Thunderbird disguise itself as Firefox for the webpage is buggy, and doesn't always work correctly. I'd give the interface a 9.5/10 for functionality and compactness. However, I feel some of it is poorly documented. The bookmarks manager is bug ridden and doesn't work in Thunderbird 11, however I suspect this is an issue with Thunderbird itself and not the Add-on. One idea for a new feature is to port a modified version of Panorama to Thunderbird as a feature of this add-on, or as a separate add-on. Something tells me that will be needed in the future. In many cases, log-on systems don't work.
The URL bar is horrible because the highlighting is annoying and you have to manually select the text in it.
The default settings are bad. The tabs should open in the main tab bar by default.
To create your own collections, you must have a Mozilla Add-ons account.
