So I was about to write a review that said the dev track wasn't working in TB 17.0.1, but decided to try one last thing. Switching to "classic reader" mode. When I do, and scroll through the 30 header lines at the top of the message, I see this functionality working. However, it's not practical in the current state, since I have to be in a specific reader mode and I have to constantly scroll to see and interact with them.
Please enhance when you next have the time so that it works within the default reader pane and conversation tab within TB17+, as well as appearing within or just below the header content so that it's visually apparent and not buried.
Thanks for the great work thus far! It takes skill to do these add-ons and not many of us have it.
Thunderbird Conversations

It does a good job of initiating and hitting all the settings for threaded views. However, it fails to include the "sent mail" folder (or it seems it has trouble with any time an email is outside of the inbox). This makes it a partial unfortunately. The concept of threading a conversation is for me to be able to put the message within ANY folder of that IMAP account and have it known where it is, but retain the linkage between them.Hoping there is an update soon to fix this. Great initial work!
edit: update. So it appears that if I am in "all folder view", the threading works as expected. However, when I am in "unified" view, the "master" inbox works correctly, however, the sub inboxes (those specific to a particular account) do not accurately thread the messages, and they are often missing pieces of the thread, not just from sent mail, but other areas as well sometimes. I've also noticed that at times it "threads" completely unrelated messages together that do not even have the same subject line or distribution list on them.
I appreciate everything the developer has done to date and am hoping they can work out the kinks to really bring it in line with Google's conversation view!

Loved how lightweight this was and was looking forward to leaving adobe's reader behind. However I noticed that this does not always correct parse the pdf files and they are often missing characters or entire blocks of information, whereas they are just fine with adobe reader. Such a bummer.

Using TB17 with Lightning 1.9 and things work great. Calendars load up and can be made read-only or two way sync. Haven't had any issues at all there!
Two major annoyances at the moment though:
-- Cannot categorize events to which you were invited (not author) - which makes no sense!
-- Cannot add attachments to an event
Any chance of those being remedied in the near future?

THANK YOU for this. The standard color highlighting is so lacking.
Three requests / suggestions for your talents:
a. be able to right click on an event and set the category / coloring. It would eliminate so many keystrokes and actions if it could be incorporated into the context menu.
b. be able to mass assign category to multiple entries. Example: I search out "birthday" in the calendar list, returning all the birthdays. It would be great to select all, then click a menu button or right click and assign a single category to all of them!
c. be able to assign categories to meetings in which you are an attendee. At the moment you cannot assign a category to an event that you didn't create, but are only invited to. This seems like a silly limitation, since I want to categorize different events, sometimes by who the organizer is!
Keep up the good work!!!
