About this Add-on
Session Manager saves and restores the state of all or some windows - either when you want it or automatically at startup, after crashes or periodically. It can also automatically save the state of open windows individually. The add-on is restartless and can be enabled and disabled on the fly.
This extension replaces SessionSaver and Tab Mix Plus' session manager. Session Manager is compatible with Tab Mix Plus. It can import sessions from both SessionSaver and Tab Mix Plus.
See http://sessionmanager.mozdev.org/documentation.html for the complete users and options guide.

Hi, I've been using Session Manager add on for many years in Seamonkey and I'm happy with it. But unfortunately it stopped working (it's shown in add on manager but doesn't display beside URL bar so cannot load/save sessions anymore) after I updated Seamonkey 2.53.16 to 2.53.17 and newer (the latest win x64 is 2.53.18.1). Would be possible to update the add-on to support this latest Seamonkey?

I still have not upgraded firefox because I do not wish to part company with this session manager.
It's still the BEST session manager I have Ever seen.
Its organisational structure is the best. Simple, yet no one else seems to be able to emulate it...
I hope it comes back some day...

I have been using Firefox since day one(I have archived hard drives with version 6 and 24) and have save hundreds of sessions and web pages of interest to ME. I am still using Firefox 56.0.2 for no other reason than I refuse to throw away years of research and archived sessions of interest to me. It is obvious the Mozilla developers did not consider all the loyal users who did not want to throw away a significant part of their life be it sessions and pages saved for personal or professional reasons. Maybe these developers don't use Firefox or the extensions that helped make it such a game changer because if they did they would realize the disruptions trashing or dumping this extension causes. I am assuming they have files they keep somewhere so how would they like it if tomorrow someone told them they could no longer access their personal and professional files that they have accumulated over the past 10, 15 or 20 years? Version 56.0.2 forever or until Firefox developers get their act together. Bring Session Manager back!!!!
