It worked very well for me. After recovering my emails from a backup file, I had a lot of duplicate emails, this module saved me a lot of time and drastically reduced the number of emails. It is very easy to use.
This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.5.2.2).To create your own collections, you must have a Mozilla Add-ons account.
